Our Journey

1990s: Building the Foundation

Vision set by the late Mr. Iftekhar Ahmad Butt

1973 - Founded an injection molding factory in Pakistan producing beverage caps
1983 - Expanded to the UK, focusing on trade with West Africa
1984 - Opened an office and warehouse in Lagos, Nigeria for local polymer distribution
1996 - Multi Trade Group officially founded in the Sharjah Free Zone, UAE

2000s: Expanding the Business

Led by Asif Iftekhar and Atif Ahmad Butt

2001 - Multi Industries established to manufacture food packaging, PVC pipes, and construction products
2003 - Multi Commodities formed to trade soft commodities such as rice, sugar, lentils, steel, and cement

2010s: Entering New Markets & Diversifying

Established new offices in Kenya & Serbia to strengthen regional operations
Expanded into East Africa, Southeast Asia (SEA), and GCC markets
2017 - Launched the MultiPoly product line, diversifying into polymer specialties
Introduced genuine lubricants as part of an expanded industrial product portfolio

2020s: Global Reach & Industry Leadership

Continued Growth

Launched Multitec Masterbatch & Compound, focusing on sustainable materials.
Expanded global presence in Korea, Saudi Arabia, India, Egypt, Turkey, and Singapore.
Acquired Rexton, strengthening industrial capabilities.
Multi Power Logistics established to enhance supply chain efficiency & fast deliveries.
Established a 2M sq. ft. warehousing footprint, with 30,000 MT holding capacity.
Expanded production facilities to meet growing demand.
Founded MultiGym, a health & wellness initiative for employees and the local community.
Secured exclusive agency agreements with major polymer producers for select regional markets.
Established MultiPack Retail Outlets, further strengthening end-user distribution channels.
USA office launched to source polymers in North America and expand into LATAM.
Multi Industries expanded into dairy food packaging.
Developed a strategic alliance with Dubai Port Authority to create a regional hub for product distribution in the Middle East and Africa, utilizing exclusive warehousing & logistics partnerships.
